How to attach a MOLLE pouch to your Duty Belt

Everyone, 911 Gear here. I just want to do a quick video to show you how to attach a molle pouch to a duty belt and how to do it so it's secure.

Probably the best way is to show you actually how the molle system works. This is our molle radio pouch holder, and this is the molle system on the back. You have two molle sticks, and then underneath the molle sticks, you have sewn loops. When attaching to your actual molle vest, what you're going to want to do is weave the straps through your vest and then attach them at the bottom.

I've just done it off camera to make it a little bit quicker. So, your actual molle straps on your vest will be through here. This will attach it to your vest.

I saw a gentleman a couple of weeks ago who had purchased one of our molle radio holders and was wearing it on his belt like this. All he had done was slide it through the belt. Problems with that are that there's a lot of play in it, and there's a possibility you could lose your radio during a scuffle or a fall.

There are actually two alternatives to it, and I've done up a couple of different examples here. The first one is a low ride, so you'll be wearing your radio holder low on your belt. As you can see, the way that is done is that you thread your belt through from the top to the first loop and then thread the actual strap down through the bottom two loops and attach it at the bottom. You can see that will give you a nice low ride on your radio holder.

The second way to do it is a high ride on your radio holder. The way that is done is the exact opposite. You weave it through the top here and then right down to the bottom and attach it. That's a little bit safer; there's not as much play in it, which would make it harder for you to lose your radio.
