Primary Lights
at 911gear.ca we recommend carrying two lights carrying two lights. Their primary light is an economical light like the MT1A or MT2A. Both use AA batteries and are long lasting lights. They are used for illuminating vehicle during stops, minor searches, shining into vehicles and other times when a high power light is not necessary. On their belt they carry a high power back up light. Usually a high power light for looking for suspects who are hiding, looking for and collecting evidence after foot chases, shootings, firearm situations or any investigations. I go back to the beginning of this article when I was told back in the early 90's a good tactical light could give you the opportunity to disorient or blind an attacker temporarily to give you a chance to shoot, move or both.
Tactical Flashlights
Each of the TZ20 lights and TZ60's come with the light, a wall charger, a car charger, a USB cord a rechargeable battery as well as a pouch, lanyard and extra O ring. Both lights are under $70 with all the above items included. They are new to 911gear.ca but we sell more than any other light. They also come in the plastic case that is shown on the site. The DIY settings allow you to change the light modes on your light. You can a cancel modes for example if you dont want low or strobe you can cancel them out so you only have medium , high and SOS. If you don't want or need SOS Strobe you can cancel them out and only keep Low, medium or high. I think this brilliant idea on XTAR"s part.
